When the cereal bar, brings in an offbeat crew of locals, who debate the arcana of cereal history and ideal milk/flake ratios, an aspiring capitalist rips off their concept.

When a cure is created, which apparently can turn any mutant into a normal human being, there is outrage amongst the mutant community. Whilst some mutants do like the idea of a cure, including Rogue, many mutants find that there shouldn’t be a cure. Magneto, who still believes a war is coming, recruits a large team of mutants to take down Warren Worthington II and his cure. Might seem easy for the X-Men to stop, but Magneto has a big advantage, which Wolverine doesn’t have. Jean Grey has returned, and joined with Magneto. The Phoenix has woken within her, which has the ability to destroy anything in here past, even if that ‘anything’ is a X-Men.

It’s not the crime, it’s the cover-up. In small-town, hard-scrabble New Hampshire, foul-mouthed all-talk slacker John “Rugged” Rudgate fancies himself a criminal. When a local plumber stares him down at a pub, Rugged vows revenge, pouring brake fluid in the man’s water supply. When the man dies from unrelated causes, Rugged and his side-kick, the even dimmer Jeff, try to cover up what they think is murder. One bad decision begets another.

While traveling in a trailer to California through the New Mexico Desert, a family is misled to a shortcut going to nowhere by the owner of an isolated gas station and wrecks the car in a rock. Along the night and on the next day, they are attacked by a group of deformed cannibals, fruit of the atmospheric nuclear tests conducted by USA from 1945 to 1962 in that spot. Absolutely trapped by the psychotics, they have to fight to survive.

Michael and Elise are about to get married. Their high school and college friends gather together for the wedding and resolve some issues. Lana is in therapy and when Elise’s ex shows up from London she begins to realise what has been troubling her all these years. Involves a lot of drunkeness and some drug-use.

Landscape gardener Jim Winters is a quiet craftsman, a soft-spoken man who prefers an orderly life. His family, however, is anything but orderly. Older son Gabe is planning his escape to Florida, leaving behind any shot at a stable future with his girlfriend. Younger son Pete has retreated into a private world of anger, drift and disappointment. Jim struggles watching his sons make choices he views as disastrous compromises. It is only when he meets his new neighbor, Molly, that Jim finds a way to deal with his own life and his family’s future.

Rick, an executive at Image, is a jerk to a woman applying for a job. That evening, he’s out for drinks with his much younger boss, Duke, and the same women is their waitress. Rick’s continued rudeness leads to her getting fired. She puts a curse on him. A potential rift with Duke quickly surfaces; Rick is approached by the hail-fellow Buck, who runs His Own Company, offering to rid Rick of Duke. At dinner later that night, Rick and Duke’s paths cross again; this time Rick is with his stunning and beloved daughter, Eve, a student who has a secret relationship with Duke. All paths lead to the office holiday party.

A new war between humans and mutants begins after an attempted assassination of the President of the United States. Now, all the mutants must fight together against a common enemy: General William Stryker. Stryker, to further his plan to eradicate all mutants, uses radical methods to get some information from Magneto, and plans an attack to Professor Xavier’s school. On the night of the attack, Wolverine is left alone to ‘babysit’ the young students (Jean Grey and Storm are looking for the mutant assassin, and Xavier is in Magneto’s plastic prison, having left Cyclops in its lobby).

The 25th Hour depicts the last day of freedom for a young man before he begins serving a seven-year jail term for drug dealing. Prowling through the city until dawn with his two close male friends and his girlfriend, he is forced to re-examine his life and how he got himself into his predicament, which leads to a shocking, disturbing finale.

Val Waxman is a film director who was once big in the 1970’s and 1980’s, but has now has been reduced to directing TV commercials. Finally, he gets an offer to make a big film. But, disaster strikes, when Val goes temporarily blind, due to paranoia. So, he and a few friends, try to cover up his disability, without the studio executives or the producers knowing that he is directing the film blind.

Tadpole is the childhood nickname of Oscar, a precocious 15-year-old who disdains girls his own age and nurses an infatuation for his 40-something stepmother, Eve. But while home from school for Thanksgiving, Oscar gets drunk and falls in bed with Eve’s best friend, Diane, leading to a series of painfully funny scenes in which Oscar fears revelation while trying, desperately, to woo Eve.
